Enoch Williams Introduces VP Scott Falk as New Leader of Event Planning Organization
REDLANDS, Calif., Jan. 23, 2018—After more than 40 years and thousands of events, Enoch Williams, the founder of Arrowhead Conferences & Events—recognized throughout North America as the leader in Christian conference and meeting planning—is retiring. Scott Falk, a hospitality industry veteran and the former vice president of Arrowhead, has succeeded him as president of the organization, which is a ministry of Cru. Williams will assist with the transition until March 2018.
“I have worked alongside Scott for over 20 years, and his contributions are a huge factor in Arrowhead Conferences & Events’ standard of excellence and growth,” said Williams. “I am excited to see this excellence in service continue throughout this new season for our organization, and have the utmost confidence that Arrowhead will flourish with Scott at the helm.”
Williams began planning conferences for Cru, then known as Campus Crusade for Christ, in 1973. Cru’s leadership recognized the need across Christian ministries for this conference-planning specialty and established Arrowhead in 1986, naming Williams as president. Arrowhead currently serves more than 450 ministry contacts nationwide with a large assortment of meetings, from small board retreats to citywide events.

Falk was announced as president-elect by the Arrowhead board of directors and assumed his role this month. As vice president, Falk provided leadership and direction to all Arrowhead account managers and associates, directed marketing efforts, and implemented new business strategies and technology advances. He also served previously as the director of sales.

Enoch Williams served as president of Arrowhead Conferences & Events for 32 years. He was previously the national conference planner for Cru (formerly known as Campus Crusade for Christ). A pioneer in the meeting planning industry, Williams began planning conferences for Cru in 1973. The hotel community soon realized the value of Williams’ work, inspiring him to offer his knowledge and experience in conference planning to other Christian ministries. Out of this passion for service and ministry, Cru’s leadership incorporated Arrowhead as a subsidiary in 1986, naming Williams as president.
In his role as president, Williams provided overall leadership and direction to the organization. He created the foundation for all of its various conference-planning activities including location and venue research and coordination, contract negotiation, and registration and housing services. Prior to his tenure in the hospitality industry, Williams served with Cru’s high school ministry and worked in state government He received his bachelor’s degree in business management from Florida State University.
Enoch and his wife Liz, an Episcopal priest, have been married for three years and have a blended family that includes six adult children and 11 grandchildren.
Williams has served on advisory boards for Red Lion Hotels, Wyndham Hotels, Omni Hotels and InterContinental Hotels; on convention and visitors bureau advisory councils for Chicago, Detroit, Spokane, Nashville and Palm Springs; and on the planner advisory council of the Religious Conference Management Association (RCMA).
Scott Falk became president of Arrowhead Conferences & Events in January 2018 after more than 21 years with the organization. In his previous role of vice president, Falk provided leadership and direction to all Arrowhead account managers and associates, directed marketing efforts, and implemented new business strategies and technology advances. He also served previously as the director of sales.
Before joining Arrowhead, Falk worked as a convention center director of Concordia University Chicago and as a director of Christian education at Pilgrim Lutheran Church and School in Santa Monica, CA. Falk is a graduate of Concordia University Chicago.
Falk and his wife Suzanne have been married for almost 20 years, and they have six children who range in age from 5–15 years old.
Falk is currently a board member of the Garuna Foundation and sits on the San Jose Convention and Visitors Bureau advisory board. He is a founding member of the Christian Meetings & Conventions Association (CMCA) advisory board and has also served on the advisory councils of the Religious Conference Management Association (RCMA), Rejuvenate (now Connect Faith) and InterContinental Hotels, as well as numerous convention and visitors bureau advisory boards.
